When is the best time/age to get married?

There are many opinions on when is the best time to get married.
Getting married when you’re too young could result in divorce, of course. But waiting too long—and it’s not nearly as long as you might think—could be just as problematic.

“We are a society that had been conditioned to marry right after college, or, in some areas, right after high school,” says Audrey Hope, a celebrity relationship expert. “The culture has a map for us, and if we don’t follow the silent order, we feel that we are doing something wrong and will be left behind and ultimately alone in love.”
There are lots of reasons why late 20s/early 30s would make sense as a time to start a lifelong partnership with someone: people are old enough to understand if they really get along with someone or are just blinded by hormones. They’ve already made significant life choices and taken on some responsibilities. And they may be just financially solvent enough to be able to contemplate supporting someone should the need arise.

On the other hand, they’re not so old and set in their ways that they can’t make the myriad of little adjustments in habits and lifestyle and goals and personal hygiene that marriage requires. They probably don’t have ex-spouses or children among whom they to divide their time, resources and loyalty.

Some relationship experts will tell you that age as a number is less important than age as experience. There isn’t necessarily a best age to get married, but there definitely is a best time to get married. The best time to get married is when you feel comfortable and confident in your career and personal life. If you were to give yourself an exact age, you might find that you settle for whomever you’re with at that age.

For some, the best time to think about settling down is in your late 20s, when different parts of your life often start to make more sense and you feel more stable.
After having said and discussed all that, the most rational answer for the question of when is the best time to get married is purely based on what is your motive behind getting married.

If you are getting married to start a family then 20’s or early 30’s is the best time for the girls to get married because of less chances of complications during pregnancy.

If you are getting married just to have a partner or companion to share a life with and have no intention to expand your family then any marriageable age is the best time to get married.

If you are getting married just because everyone is married and because you want to follow the tradition and feel that you have found that perfect person to marry then again, any time is the best time.
One thing very important is to get married only when you are mentally and physically prepared for it. Do not get married under pressure. Marriage is an entirely new phase of life and hence it will demand for a lot of commitment. Make a decision wisely!
